Hey Kids, College Students, TikTok Junkies: “Don’t Be Fooled Again!”

  • Reading time:8 mins read

I recently read an alarming article that said most students from early on up to 25 don’t really read articles and books anymore. That is especially true when it comes to the news. Why is that so alarming? Because it is through reading where critical thinking takes place. Without critical thinking people are prone to be fooled.

Lies land easy on minds of mush.

One of the biggest lies that is coming back around in our country is the belief that “communism” is good, and “capitalism” is bad. Without making it complicated, (because if I do the article I mentioned said most of you won;t read this), “communism” is a political system that is built on envy and jealousy. People who want communism have been led to believe that there is unequal pay and distribution of capital because the rich stole everything from the poor.  And the only way to make things right is to have the government apply laws that compel the rich to “spread the wealth” evenly among everyone. Once the money is equally shared, then everyone will be happy and no one will be lacking a thing.

Sounds great, doesn’t it?

And if you say “yes” that means you have never read anything of substance in your life, especially a history book. Because this dangerous teaching has been tried over and over and over again and it has failed miserably.

The father of communism is a man by the name of Karl Marx. He was from Germany and he was a very compelling writer. One major problem with Marx is that he had no moral compass. He was driven by jealousy of others, and much of his political thinking came from wanting what other’s had. And because he was a good writer he made this “sin of covetousness” look like it was born from “compassion for the poor.” And in his mind, to have real fairness, giving must be forced on others through “revolution”.

Revolution = Revolt! Revolt against the powers that be! Revolt against the evil rich! Revolt against traditional norms from religion, family, sexuality, and meritorious work! Revolt! Rage against the machine! Because after all, “You deserve it!”

Marx figured if the poor would learn how to band together, (UNITE!), they could use their strength in numbers and wrestle power from the rich. And once they had power they could then make things fair. It wouldn’t be stealing, it would be equity, getting your “fair share.” Well Marx was only a writer, not a real leader or politician. His writings, however, caught on with dark and dangerous men of power who harnessed “communism” for their benefit. I could go on and on how influential his writing was, but I want to quickly talk about one such man of power, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. He is commonly known as Lenin.

He looks like a good man, doesn’t he. That is the problem, looks can be terribly decieving.

Lenin was one of the first people to use Marx’s ideas to compel a whole country, Russia, to revolt against those in power. Through his ability to persuade the peasants and poor of Russia, he was able to overthrew the rule of the Tsar. The Russian Tsars had despotic power for over 300 years until this man and his band of zealous revolutionaries soaked Russia red with revolutionary blood.

This took place in 1917 in St. Petersburg, and it is called the “Russian Revolution.” Lenin had people believing that they could make everythig right by taking money from the rich, stealing farmland from the landowners, grain from the growers, and industry from the huge corporations, hand it over to the kind peasants, and righteous workers, and then everyone would live happily ever after.

How well do you think that went over with the rich, the landowners, and the big business owners? Not well, they didn’t like it at all. So it was forced from them through what is called “The Red Terror.” From 1918-1922 one-million Russians had to die for wonderful communism to take root and grow. Many were shot, imprisoned and shipped to the wastelands of Siberia, and most were starved to death. As Lenin once said, “You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelette.”

What’s 1 million or so eggs?

The problem was most of the uber-rich could flee to other parts of Europe, while the middle class farmers and poor peasants were the ones who actually suffered and died. Lenin’s dirty little secret is that he actually hated peasants, he just used them to get power (And this is true with most politicians – power is won off the backs of the poor). I read one account that talked about how people in Lenin’s own home town were systematically dying from his cruel policies of grain confiscation:

“Nursing babies have lost their voices and are no longer able to cry. Every day more than twenty dead are carried away, but it is not possible to remove all of them Sometimes corpses remain among the living for more than five days…A woman tries to soothe a small child lying in her lap. The child cries…For some time the mother goes on rocking it in her arms. Then suddenly she strikes it. The child screams anew. This seems to drive the woman mad. She begins to beat it furiously, her face distorted with rage. She rains blows with her fist on its little face, on its head, and at last she throws it upon the floor and kicks it with her foot. A murmur of horror rises around her. The child is lifted from the ground, curses are hurled at  the mother, who, after her furious excitement has subsided, has again become herself, utterly indifferent to everything around her. Her eyes are fixed, but are apparently sightless.”

Sad, horribly sad. And it is all the result of a man who wanted power, and he gained that power by lying to poor peasants and young people who thought “revolution” was the right thing to do.

A year before Lenin died, he was in poor health and he looked back on the revolution that he started and he admitted three things:

(1) Because of communism, nothing was working. Factories had stopped producing, money was worthless, there was mass starvation.

(2) The peasants were dissatisfied, and he knew he lost favor with the people.

(3) The number of bureaucrats doubled and tripled in the government. The state was being run by lazy, inept people who simply went along with the revolution to get a job, not because they were good at their job.

As a result of these observations Lenin did something extraordinary to make things work again; for a ten year period he brought “capitalism” back. He didn’t call it capitalism because he knew it would go against everything he wrote and believed, so he had to give it a new name. He called it, “Soviet power, plus electrification.” He let the market with prices and meritorious pay work again. One writer said, “In Moscow, everything was available again. Shops and stores sprang up overnight, mysteriously stocked with delicacies Russians had not seen for years. Large quantities of butter, cheese and meat were displayed for sale; pastry, rare fruit and sweets of every variety were to be purchased. Men, women and children with pinched faces and hungry eyes stood about gazing into the windows and discussing the great miracle: what was but yesterday considered a heinous offense was now flaunted before them in an open and legal manner.”

In other words, capitalism worked because it rewards hard work. That is how human beings were made.

Why do I write this? Because most young people in America are being lied to, thinking politicians like AOC, Zoran Mamdami, and the rest of the progressive elite are going to make things fair and equal. They tout the taking more tax revenue from the billionaires to make things equal. When in reality, all they are doing is using the same Marxist tactics of giving power of the government to take from those who have more to “suppossedly” give to those who have less. It sounds good, but it is a philosophy of death. And practically speaking, a pile of dung!

It really only uses the poor to gain power for the inept and arrogant.

There is a story in the Bible, 1 Kings 3:16-28, where King Solomon resolves a dispute between two women, each claiming to be the mother of the same living baby. To determine the true mother, Solomon proposed to cut the infant in two and give half to each woman. The real mother begged for the baby’s life to be spared and be given to the other woman, while the false mother agreed to the division. Solomon then awarded the child to the compassionate woman, an act widely seen as a display of his divine wisdom.

But more relevant to our discussion, this story shows how deadly envy really is.

The false mother was willing to kill the other person’s baby simply for equity’s sake. Just to be equal the person who doesn’t have is okay with diminshing and discounting the person who has. That in a nutshell is “communism’s” main flaw. The human heart is evil and it would rather be equal and lacking than allowing another to have more than me.

Don’t be fooled. Never, never, never give in to progressive lies, they kill!
